  • Therapists work within a medical model of care, equipped with the necessary skills to assist clients in need of diagnosis, assessment, and treatment. In situations involving mental health crises or active suicidal ideation, therapists, psychologists, or psychiatrists, with their specialized expertise and experience, are the most suitable professionals to provide care during this critical stage of our healing process.

Trauma recovery coaches work within a client-led, supportive model of care. The core of trauma recovery coaching lies in providing trauma-informed care that prioritizes safety and trust. This approach acknowledges clients as essential and valuable members of their own recovery journey, fostering collaboration and mutual understanding. By empowering clients to define their own recovery goals, they are given the voice and choice to determine what changes they desire and how to achieve them. Coaches validate clients' experiences, offer guidance and insight, and provide unwavering support and encouragement to help them reach their recovery goals.
